Action from Paralympics
Natalie Du Toit is powering on at the Paralympics.
Du Toit broke the paralympic record in her 400m freestyle S9. She swam in a time of 4:24.75 in her heat earlier today. With this fantastic performance she is now into the final which is scheduled to take place at 14h17 today. It seems she is well on her way to winning five gold medals.
Fanie van der Merwe also got in on the medal action he picked up a gold medal in Mens 100m T37 final.
However Ernst Van Dyk didn't enjoy the same success. The veteran finished fourth in the Hand Cycling event after a mammoth effort. Even though he missed out on a medal in this race, he has another chance in the 50 km event on Sunday.
